Privacy notice
Ramp Rocket is a free fan game run by a private individual. This notice explains what data is created while you play and what happens to it.
Stored on your own device
Your browser's local storage (localStorage) keeps your best score, the path of your best run, your sound and language settings, the number of runs played and the nickname you last entered for the leaderboard. None of this is sent to the server, and it disappears when you clear your browser data. The game uses no cookies.
Leaderboard
If you submit a score after a run, the server stores the nickname you entered and the run data (distance, score, landing type, impact speed, tilt, release angle, reaction time, canisters collected) together with the time of submission. Anyone can see the nickname and the score on the leaderboard. Do not enter your real name, e-mail address or other identifying data. Nothing goes on the leaderboard unless you submit it.
Visit counting
The server keeps daily totals of how many times the game was opened, how many runs were started and finished, and how many times it was shared or installed. These numbers cannot be linked to a person: no IP address, cookie or device identifier is stored with them.
Technical logs
The game server does not log IP addresses; to block abuse (too many submissions) it keeps them in memory for a few minutes at most. The hosting or proxy provider in front of the server may briefly log access data under its own rules.
Deletion and contact
To have a leaderboard entry removed, write to the address below and give the nickname and the day of submission: hello@ramprocket.app.
